Of course! Conditions such as hEDS have consistently shown the physiotherapy is one of the most important and effective ways of reducing pain, increasing strength and maximising daily function.

It is not uncommon to have the conditions confused with each other. While they share many of the same traits and signs, diagnosis of hEDS follows a strict protocol known as the 2017 Diagnostic Criteria. There is no genetic test for hEDS because the cause(s) of hEDS have not been identified.
If you do not meet the criteria but have a lot of the symptoms that are consistent with hypermobility you would most likely have HSD.

As a primary healthcare provider, physiotherapy does not require a referral for an initial appointment. Simply call up or book online.
If you have any additional papework with you (e.g. imaging, GP letters, past operations), please bring this with you to your appointment.

Yes we do! We provide a mixed billing service through a Chronic Disease Management Plan from your GP. These are services dedicated to people with chronic diseases that can be manged by professionals such as physiotherapists.
